Louis Meadows is an experienced mobile developer for Android and Symbian Linux platforms. Assistant organizer of the SF Bay Area LAMP meet-up group and has worked on web enabled technologies since 1996. He is an active member of the Qt mobile users group, Google Technology Users Group “GTUG”, the Silicon Valley Android business and technical meet-ups. Attends CTIA, Qt mobile, Embedded Systems Conference, ARM Conference, Eclipse Conference and Google I/O.
A published Nokia OVI store mobile application producer with downloads in twenty-nine countries. Released Timelord1 with the Nokia OVI store launch in 2009, a locative time management application that tracks time, tasks and materials. Timelord1 was chosen by AT&T as a semifinalist in the fall 2009 CTIA “fast pitch” mobile application contest.
Louis Meadows was the Nokia consultant to SkyRockit that produced the release of Romplr for N8,C7 on Symbian3. Romplr is a large native Symbian C++ carbide multimedia application. Romplr currently has over 250,000 downloads from Nokia OVI store. He has worked closely with Nokia and ICS technical staff on Symbian C++, Qt mobility, Qwebkit to produce S60 applications. He is assistant coordinator of the SV Qt meetup. Louis has also worked on the Android platform since the release of the G1 by T-mobile and Google in 2008. He has worked with the Eclipse IDE and plug-ins (Aptana, Carbide, CDT) and is a member of SV GTUG and the Eclipse users group.
